CC Resolution 8559 RESOLUTION NO. 8559 BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL ESTABLISHING FEES RELATING TO CAMPBELL MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 10.16.060 "PARADES AND FUNERAL PROCESSIONS--PERMITS" WHEREAS, Chapter 10.16.060 of the Campbell Municipal Code establishes a permit process for Parades and Funeral Processions, and authorizes application fees be adopted by resolution. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Campbell approve a permit application fee of $30.00 for a private party funeral escort operator, and that this fee shall be added to the Police Department Fees in the Addendum--Fees Section of the Council Policy Manual. Attachment "A" FUNERAL ESCORT OPERATOR APPLICATION FEE SCHEDULE As part of the application process, the following items will be investigated before an individual is approved by the Chief of Police for operation in the City. 1. Validity of California Driver's License. 2. Review of driving record. 3. Verification of employment with a funeral escort company that possesses a valid business license. 4. Verification of insurance. 5. Verification of safety training. 6. Equipment inspection. The application process will take approximately one (1) hour, and a $30.00 application fee will be charged.
