RESOLUTION NO.
8496
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAMPBELL APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE
SANTA CLARA COUNTY CENTRAL
FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell desires to contract with the
Santa Clara County Central Fire Protection District for fire
services, first responder medical care, fire prevention, and
education services; and
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell has negotiated an agreement with
the Santa Clara County Central Fire Protection District, and such
agreement has been reviewed by the City Council at its regular
meeting of June 1, 1993 and appears to be in the best interests of
the City of Campbell; and
WHEREAS, the agreement sets forth services to be recieved by
the City of Campbell and sets current and future costs that are
acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council does
hereby direct and authorize the City Manager to sign such agreement
and complete other negotiations as necessary to implement the
contracting of fire services with the Santa Clara County Central
Fire Protection District so that such services may commence on
July 1, 1993.
