RESOLUTION NO. 8470
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL OF COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROPOSALS FROM SANTA CLARA
COUNTY UNDER THE FEDERAL HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
ACT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1993-1994
WHEREAS, the City has previously entered into a Joint Powers Agreement
with Santa Clara County to form an Urban County under the Housing and
Community Development Act; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held public hearings regarding the
expenditure of monies under the Community Development Act; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the attached
proposals represent several health and safety community development needs
III Campbell;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell hereby authorizes staff to submit two additional proposals for
the expenditure of 1993-94 CDBG funds in the amount of $50,000 for the
following projects:
Dumpster Enclosure Matching
Grants for Sharmon Palms-Sobrato
$25,000
Targeted Code Enforcement/Nuisance
Abatement
$25.000
$50,000
Total Additional CDBG 1993-94 Funded Projects:
