RESOLUTION NO. 8449
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL HONORING
LARRY H. PEDERSEN
AS 1992 CITIZEN OF THE YEAR
WHEREAS, Larry H. Pedersen is a graduate of Campbell High
School where he met and later married his wife, Bonnie; and
WHEREAS, Larry H. Pedersen has served as past President of
the Ainsley House Museum Campaign Committee, past Campbell
representative for the Santa Clara Water District Study, and
was a founding member of the Campbell Golf Club; and
WHEREAS, Larry H. Pedersen has managed A Tool Shed, a
successful Campbell business, for 29 years; and
WHEREAS, Larry H. Pedersen is a current member of the Chamber
of Commerce and serves as Chair for the Legislative Committee;
and
WHEREAS, Larry H. Pedersen is a current member of the Campbell
Kiwanis and serves as Lieutenant Governor of Division 12,
CAL-NEV-HA District of the Kiwanis; and
WHEREAS, Larry H. Pedersen is the current President of the
Campbell Historical Museum Association; and
WHEREAS, Larry H. Pedersen serves as Vice President of the
Billy Jones Wildcat Rail Road & Carousel Corporation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Campbell recognizes and honors LARRY H. PEDERSEN on
being named
1992 CAMPBELL CITIZEN OF THE YEAR
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of February, 1993 by the
following roll call vote:
