RESOLUTION NO. 8413
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMPBELL DECLARING CANVASS OF RETURNS AND RESULT OF GENERAL
MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 1992
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Campbell duly called and ordered
held in said City a General Municipal Election on the 3rd day of November, 1992,
for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors thereof the election of
two City Councilmembers, one City Clerk, and one City Treasurer.
WHEREAS,
1992, and
canvassed,
respects as
said General Municipal Election was held on Tuesday, November 3,
in accordance with the law and the votes thereat received and
and the returns thereof ascertained, determined and declared in all
required by law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Clerk of the City of Campbell be and she is hereby
instructed to enter this resolution on the minutes of the City Council as a
statement of the result of said election.
2. That the whole number of votes cast in said City at said General
Municipal election was16,4l7votes.
3. That at said election the following candidates were submitted to the
electors of said City and that the number of votes given in said City for each
of said candidates were as follows:

4. That by said Resolution calling said General Municipal Election for
said City of Campbell was divided into thirtY-six (36) voting precincts
for the purpose of said election, and that the number of votes cast in
each of said precincts was as attached hereto and made a part hereof and
marked "Exhibit A".
5. That all absent voters' ballots have been duly received and
canvassed in time for and in the manner required by law, and the result is
outlined in "Exhibit A".
6. That the following candidate elected are:
CITY COUNCIL (2 seats)
Donald R. Burr
Robert S. Dougherty
CITY CLERK (1 seat)
Anne Coyne Bybee
CITY TREASURER (1 seat)
Gerald Kennedy
7. That the term of office shall be for the remainder of a four (4)
year term, expiring November, 1996.

Election held on November 3. 1992. and consolidated therewith. a General MuniCIpal Election was held
in the CITY OF CAMPBELL for the purpose of electing two Members to the City Council. the City
Clerk and the City Treasurer;
That the results of said Election were canvassed by the Office of the Santa Clara County
Registrar of Voters in accordance with applicable provisions of the California Elections Code; and.
That the Statement of Votes Cast. to which this Certificate is attached. shows the total number
of ballots cast in the City of Campbell; the number of votes cast for each candidate for Council Member,
City Clerk and City Treasurer in said City. and in each of the respective precincts; and.
That the totals shown are full. true and correct.
