RESOLUTION NO. 8380
BEING A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC
WORKS TO SIGN, ON BEHALF OF THE CITY, A CONTRACT WITH
THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF FORESTRY AND FIRE
PROTECTION TO ALLOW SMALL BUSINESSES TO PLANT TREES ON
GOVERNMENT OWNED LANDS
WHEREAS, the
contract with
lands; and
City has been awarded a grant of $17,653 to
small businesses to plant trees on City owned
WHEREAS, said grant is administered by the California
Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, and
WHEREAS, said grant requires the City to enter into a contract
with the California Department of Forestry and Fire
Protection;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that the
Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to execute a
written contract with the California Department of Forestry
and Fire Protection in accordance with the grant requirements.
