RESOLUTION NO.
8359
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL TO APPROVE AN ADJUSTMENT TO THE
1992-93 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council a
request for an increase in the estimated revenues and appropriations
to reflect the receipt of two Traffic Safety Grants;
WHEREAS, the California Office of Traffic Safety will provide
the Police Department with $13,000 for equipment and supplies to be
used for a series of Sobriety Checkpoints;
WHEREAS, the California Peace Officers' Association will
provide the Police Department with $4,500 for supplies and personnel
overtime to conduct two Safety Belt Checkpoints;
WHEREAS, the funds expended by the City will be repaid by the
granting authorities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council authorize
the transfer of $17,500 from fund number 001.306.3356 (Grant Revenue)
in the following distribution manner:
