RESOLUTION NO.
8336
BEING A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING OUTREACH & ESCORT, INC.,
AS A C.T.S.A., TO FILE A CLAIM ON ITS BEHALF WITH THE
METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION FOR ALLOCATION OF
TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT 4.5 FUNDS FOR F.Y. 1992-93
WHEREAS, the Transportation Development Act provides for
disbursement of funds for use by eligible claimants for paratransit
services for the elderly and disabled; and
WHEREAS, Outreach & Escort, Inc., has been designated as a
Consolidated Transportation Services Agency by the Metropolitan
Transportation Commission for the cities of Campbell, Milpitas,
Morgan Hill, Gilroy, Cupertino, San Martin, Santa Clara and San
Jose, and
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell wishes to continue paratransit
services for its elderly and disabled residents;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor authorizes
Outreach & Escort, Inc. to claim and receive funds from the
Metropolitan Transportation Commission in order to operate
paratransit services for the City of Campbell for the fiscal year
1992-93, and that the Mayor is authorized to execute an agreement
with Outreach & Escort, Inc. for the delivery of pararansit
services;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Campbell will not claim
T.D.A. 4.5 funds independently.
