RESOLUTION NO. 8310
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
COMMENDING SPECIAL AGENT JOSEPH CHIARAMONTE
WHEREAS, Special Agent Joseph Chiaramonte joined the Federal Bureau
of Investigation on March 4, 1968, and was assigned to Omaha, Nebraska;
and
WHEREAS, upon entering the San Jose Resident Agency in 1977, Special
Agent Joseph Chiaramonte served as a Special Agent investigating all
areas of federal crime, including narcotics, bank robberies, organized
crime and interstate transportation of stolen property; and later became
a supervisory special agent, in which he supervised in excess of twenty
special agents; and
WHEREAS, during his tenure in the San Jose Resident Agency, Special
Agent Joseph Chiaramonte was instrumental in fostering mutual
cooperation and a positive working relationship between the FBI and
local law enforcement agencies.
WHEREAS, Special Agent Chiaramonte will be retiring from the Federal
Bureau of Investigation on June 3, 1992 after twenty-four years of
service;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the City of
Campbell hereby honors Special Agent Joseph Chiaramonte on his twenty
four successful years service with the Federal Bureau of Investigation,
and expresses appreciation for his loyalty and support to the Campbell
Police Department.
