RESOLUTION NO. 8307
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT SUBMITTAL FOR FISCAL YEAR 1992-93
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously approved the expenditure of
$155,000 in CDBG funds for very low and low income housing projects; and
WHEREAS, the City received an additional allocation of $22,382 in CDBG
funds than originally anticipated; and
WHEREAS, the City would like to allocate additional funds to those
non-profit agencies exceeding their housing goals; to the New Shelter
Fund, a non-profit agency constructing the new Children's Shelter; and to
the City's housing rehabilitatIon loan program.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell hereby authorizes staff to submit proposals to the County of
Santa Clara for the expenditure of CDBG funds in the revised total amount
of $177,382 for the following projects:
Shared Housing Project of Catholic Charities
Project Match
CSEARR
Emergency Housing Consortium
Public Services Subtotal
ESO Handyworker fHome Access Program
CDBG Administration
City of Campbell Housing Rehabilitation Admin.
Housing Rehabilitation Loans & Grants
New Shelter Fund

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby authorize
staff administratively handle any additional minor changes in CDBG funding
(not to exceed $5,000) for Fiscal Year 1992-93, making adjustments in the
housing rehabilitation program.
