PC Res 2902RESOLUTION NO. 2902 BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A PREZONING TO R-l-6 (SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) FOR THE PROPERTIES LOCATED AT 1410 AND 1426 SHARP AVENUE, PER THE ATTACHED EXHIBIT "B", FILE NO. ZC 94-01. After notification and public hearing as specified by law on proposed amendments to the Zoning Map of the City of Campbell, R-l-6 (Single-Family Residential) on the properties located at 1410 and 1426 Sharp Avenue, and after presentation by the Planning Staff, proponents and opponents, the hearing was dosed. After due consideration of all evidence presented, the Planning Commission finds as follows with regard to Application No. ZC 94-01: 1. The subject parcels are developed with single-family homes. Parcels in Campbell to the north, south, and west that adjoin the subject sites are developed as single-family homes and are zoned R-l-6 (Single- Family Residential). o The proposed prezoning designation is subject to the City Council approving the annexation and adjustments to the sphere of influence, urban service area boundary, and the landscape and lighting assessment district boundary. Based upon the foregoing findings of fact, the Planning Commission further finds and concludes that: The proposed zoning designation of R-1-6 is compatible with the surrounding zoning. The proposed prezoning will not be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort or general welfare of the persons residing or working in the neighborhood, or be detrimental or injurious to property and improvements in the neighborhood or to the general welfare of the City. The proposed prezoning is consistent with the recommended General Plan designation of Low-Density Residential (less than six units per gross acre).
