RESOLUTION NO. 8280
BEING A RESOLUTION REJECTING BID AND CALLING
FOR NEW BIDS FOR ARTERIAL STREET MAINTENANCE
PROJECT 02-05
WHEREAS, the request for bids for Project 02-05 resulted in
receipt of only one bid, which was substantially higher than
the estimated cost of the project, and
WHEREAS, since the receipt of only one bid does not indicate
what the competitive price of such work should be.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council approves
the plans and specifications and reject the bid received for
Project 02-05 and be it further resolved that the Director of
Public Works is hereby authorized to advertise again for bids
for Arterial Street Maintenance Project 02-05.
