RESOLUTION NO. 8247
BEING A RESOLUTION AND ORDER OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL, COUNTY
OF SANTA CLARA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
VACATING A PORTION OF CAMDEN AVENUE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Campbell,
County of Santa Clara, State of California, pursuant to the
provisions of The Public Streets, Highways, and Service
Easements Vacation Law, did heretofore, on the 21st day of
January, 1992 pass upon and adopt its Resolution of
Intention to vacate a certain portion of a Public Street,
being Resolution No. 8225; and
WHEREAS, the hour of 7:30 p.m. of this 18th day of
February, 1992 in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 70
North First Street, Campbell, California are the time and
place set for hearing all persons interested in or having
objections to said proposed vacation: and
NOW THEREFORE, The City Council of said City of
Campbell finds and determines from the evidence submitted
that the portion of Camden Avenue, a public street in the
City of Campbell, hereinafter described be, and it is
hereby, vacated, abandoned and closed to pUblic uses,
subject to the reservation of Public Utility Easements and
Sanitary Sewer Easements, and that the portion so vacated,
subject to such easements, is described on Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and incorporated by reference as though
fully set forth herein.

CAMDEN AVENUE
All that certain real property situate in the City of Campbell!
Cormty of Santa Clara, State of California described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the easterly ooundary of Canrlen Avenue, 66
feet wide, at the northeasterly corner of that certain parcel of land
conveyed from Bardell, et ux, to the City of CalrpJell by Grant Deed
filed for record on December 22, 1960 in Book 5022, Official Records,
Page 344, Santa Clara Cormty Records.
Thence, from said Point of Beginning, southerly along said easterly
line of Canrlen Avenue and the arc of a curve with a radius of 667.00
feet, deflecting to the left from a tangent which bears South
15004'10" East, through a central angle of 13053'44" an arc distance
of 161.76 feet to the former centerline of Casey Road as said Road is
shown on Record of SUrvey Map filed for record on Jrme 6, 1960 in
Book 121 of Maps at page 18 Santa Clara Cormty Records.
Thence South 89043'00" East, 9.73 feet to an easterly line of Canrlen
Avenue, 60.00 feet wide, as said avenue is shown on Record of SUrvey
Map entitled "San Tomas Expressway, Unit No.5" and filed for record
on March 24, 1965 in Book 192 of Maps at Page 38, Santa Clara County
Records .
Thence southerly, along last said easterly boundary of Canrlen Avenue
and the arc of a curve, with a radius of 543.70 feet, deflecting to
the left from a tangent which bears South 22027'14" East through a
central angle of 5053'55" an arc distance of 55.97 feet.
Thence South 27024'23" West, 12.24 feet to a point in an easterly
line of that cetain parcel of "Lands of Santa Clara County" last said
point lying in that certain course having a distance of 119.73 feet
as first said Parcel and Course are shown on last said Record of
SUrvey Map.
Thence, along last said course, North 45010'34" West, 77.72 feet.
Thence, continuing along the easterly boundary of said "Lands of
Santa Clata county" North 38020'00 West, 100.72 feet and North
45010'34" West, 35.95 feet.
