BEING A RESOilJI'ION OF INTENTION OF '!HE CITY CXXJNCIL OF
rnm CITY OF CAMPBElL, CXXJNIY OF SANI'A CI:ARA, STATE OF
CALIFORNIA 'ID VACATE A roRI'ION OF CENIRAL AVENUE
WHEREAS, a portion of Central Avenue, as originally dedicated has
become unnecessary; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director has reconnnended that said
portion of Central Avenue be abandoned;
NCM, 'lHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Camp:lell as follows:
1. It is the intention of the City Council of the City of
Camp:lell to vacate, abarx:ion and close to plblic use, subject to the
reservation of an easenent for plblic utilities that certain portion
of Central Avenue described in Exhibit "A" attached.
2. Notice is hereby given that 1\1esday, the 18th day of February,
1992, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock p.m. in the City Council Chamber at
the City Hall, at 70 North First. street, Campbell, California is
hereby set as the time and the place for hearing all persons
interested in or having objections to said proposed vacation.
PASSED AND AOOPl'ED this 21st day of January, 1992 by the

All that certain real property situate in the City of CamtiJell,
County of Santa Clara, state of California described as follows:
Beginning at the northwest COnter of Lot 8 as shcMn on that certain
map of the SWope Tract a copy of which map was filed on July 1, 1891
in the office of the Recorder of the County of Santa Clara, in Book E
of Maps at page 106, said COnter being also a point on the easterly
line of Central Avenue ( 50 feet wide ) as shCMIl on that Record of
survey filed in Book 461 of Santa Clara County Maps at page 54 ;
'!hence North 89049'53" West, perpendicular to said easterly line of
Central Avenue a distance of 50.00 feet, nor or less to a point on
the westerly line of said Central Avenue;
'!hence North 0010'07" East, along said westerly line of Central
Avenue a distance of 152.50 feet, nore or less to the intersection
with the southerly line of Grant street as sl1cMn on said Record of
survey;
'!hence South 89049'53" East along the easterly prolongation of said
southerly line of Grant street a distance of 50.00 feet to the
intersection with said easterly line of Central Avenue;
'!hence South 0010'07" West, along said easterly line of Central
Avenue a distance of 152.50 feet to the Point of Beginning:
Containing an area of 0.1750 acres, nore or less.
