BEING A RFSOllJI'ION OF INI'ENTION OF THE CITY CXXJNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CAMPBEIL, COClNTY OF SANI'A CLARA, SI'A'IE OF
CALIFORNIA 'IO VACA'IE A PORl'ION OF CAMDEN AVENUE
WHEREAS, a portion of canrlen Avenue became unnecessary with the
construction of San Tomas Expressway; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director has recommended that said
portion of Canrlen Avenue be abandoned;
NaV, 'lliEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
CaJ.nP.:Je11 as follows:
1. It is the intention of the City Council of the City of
CaJ.nP.:Je11 to vacate, abandon and close to p.lblic use that certain
portion of Canrlen Avenue described in Exhibit "A" attached, subject
to the reservation of a Public utilities Easement.
2. Notice is hereby given that 'I\1esday, the 18th day of February,
1992, at the hour of 7:30 o'clcx::k p.m. in the City Council Chamber at
the City Hall, at 70 North First street, CaJ.nP.:Je11, California is
hereby set as the time and the place for hearing all persons
interested in or having objections to said proposed vacation.

All that certain real property situate in the city of Ca.JtP:>ell,
County of Santa Clara, State of California described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the easterly boundary of Canr:ien Avenue, 66
feet wide, at the northeasterly corner of that certain parcel of land
conveyed from Bardell, et ux, to the City of Ca.JtP:>ell by Grant Deed
filed for record on December 22, 1960 in Book 5022, Official Records,
Page 344, Santa Clara COUnty Records.
'!hence, from said Point of Beginning, southerly along said easterly
line of Canr:ien Avenue and the arc of a curve with a radius of 667.00
feet, deflecting to the left from a tangent which bears SOuth
15004'10" East, through a central angle of 13053'44" an arc distance
of 161.76 feet to the fonoor centerline of Casey Road as said Road is
shown on Record of SUrvey Map filed for record on June 6, 1960 in
Book 121 of Map:; at pcige 18 Santa Clara COtmty Records.
'lhence SOUth 89043'00" East, 9.73 feet to an easterly line of Canden
Avenue, 60.00 feet wide, as said avenue is shown on Record of SUrvey
Map entitled "San Tomas Expressway, Unit No.5" and filed for record
on March 24, 1965 in Book 192 of Map:; at Page 38, Santa Clara County
Records .
'!hence southerly, along last said easterly boundary of Canr:ien Avenue
and the arc of a curve, with a radius of 543.70 feet, deflecting to
the left from a tnagent which bears South 22027'14" Fast through a
central angle of 5053'55" and arc distance of 55.97 feet.
'!hence South 27024'23" West, 12.24 feet to a point in an easterly
line of that cetain peircel of "lands of Santa Clara County" last said
point lying in that certain course having a distance of 119.73 feet
as first said Parcel and Course are shown on last said Record of
SUrvey Map.
'Ihence, along last said course, North 45010'34" West, 77.72 feet.
'!hence, continuing along the easterly ooundary of said "lands of
