BEING A RESOLUl'ION OF IN'I'ENI'ION OF '!HE CITY CXXJNCn. OF

CALIFORNIA 'ID VACATE A PORI'ION OF HACIENDA AVENUE
WHEREAS, a portion of Hacienda Avenue, as originally dedicated
has become unnecessary; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director has recanunended that said
portion of Hacienda Avenue be abandoned;
NCM, 'lHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
CanlPJelI as follows:
1. It is the intention of the City Council of the City of
canp:,ell to vacate, abandon and close to ~lic use that certain
portion of Hacienda Avenue described in Exhibit "A" attached.
2. Notice is hereby given that Tuesday, the 18th day of February,
1992, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock p.m. in the City Council Chamber at
the City Hall, at 70 North First street, canp:,ell, California is
hereby set as the time and the place for hearing all persons
interested in or having objections to said proposed vacation.
PASSED AND AOOPl'ED this 21st day of January , 1992 by the
following vote:

All that certain real property situate in the City of CaInJ;iJell,
County of Santa Clara, State of California described as follows:
Beginning at the northwest COn1er of I.Dt 1 as shown on that certain
map of Ri.ncx>nada Gardens, Tract No. 89, a copy of which map was filed
on May 29, 1939 in the office of the Recorder of the County of Santa
Clara, in Book 3 of Maps at page 59;
'Ihence North 6059'10" East, along the northerly prolongation of the
westerly line of said I.Dt 1 a distance of 10.00 feet;
'Ihence North 83000'50" East, parallel to the centerline of Hacienda
Avenue and distant therefrom 30 feet, as said avenue is shown on said
map of Tract No. 89 a distance of 33.00 feet;
'!hence North 88021' 40" East a distance of 107.31 feet to a point on
the southerly line of Hacienda Avenue ( 40 feet from centerline) as
sbown on said map of Tract No. 89;
'Ihence South 83000'50" West, a distance of 139.84 feet to the Point
of Beginning:
