RESOLUTION NO.
8221
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAMPBELL COMMENDING GERALD A. ELLER
FOR 27 YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CAMPBELL FIRE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, Captain Gerald A. Eller has served the City of Campbell Fire
Department since January 1, 1965, first serving the Fire Department in the
capacity of firefighter; was promoted to engineer in 1966; and was promoted
to the position of Fire Captain on October 1, 1967; and
WHEREAS, Captain Eller, throughout his service with the Campbell Fire
Department, has exhibited a high degree of public responsibility, and
performed his duties as a fire captain with commitment, loyalty, dedication,
enthusiasm, and proficiency; and
WHEREAS, Captain Eller retired from city services on December 30, 1991.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Campbell City Council hereby
expresses its appreciation to Captain Gerald A. Eller for his loyalty and
many years of valuable service; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that an appropriate copy of this Resolution be
presented to Captain Gerald A. Eller as a memento of his distinguished
service to the City of Campbell.
