RESOLUTION NO. 8189
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAMPBELL COMMENDING CRUZ S. GOMEZ
FOR THIRTY YEARS OF SERVICE
WHEREAS, Cruz S. Gomez was hired by the City of Campbell as
a Senior Engineering Aide on November 20, 1961;
WHEREAS, Cruz S. Gomez was promoted to Junior civil
Engineer on October 5, 1964;
WHEREAS, Cruz S. Gomez was promoted to Assistant civil
Engineer on September 1, 1973;
WHEREAS, Cruz S. Gomez was instrumental in the development
of land development ordinances and procedures during the
era of rapid growth in Campbell;
WHEREAS, Cruz

appreciation to Cruz S. Gomez for thirty years of loyal and
valuable service and best wishes for continued success and
achievement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of
the City of Campbell declares November 14, 1991, Cruz S.
Gomez Day in the City of Campbell.
