RESOLUTION NO. 8188
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE AN EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT AMENDMENT
WHEREAS, the City has entered into an employment contract for the
position of Signal and Lighting Technician; and
WHEREAS, it has been agreed that a six-month extension of this
employment contract is needed while further efforts are made in the
development of a permanent job classification.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IS RESOLVED, that the City Manager is hereby
authorized to execute the Employment Contract Amendment attached and shown
as Exhibit A.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of October, 1991, by the

EXHIBIT A
EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT AMENDMENT
This amendment to the employment contract between the CITY OF CAMPBELL and
CHARLES E. GALLARDO changes only those sections noted below; all other
provisions of the contract of October 2, 1990 continue in force.
Section 1.
Term of Employment
This amendment extends the contract for the period beginning October 15,
1991 through April 12, 1992; however, the contract may be terminated
earlier as provided for in the October 2, 1990 contract.
Section 4.
Employee's Benefits
1. Sick Leave Time: Forty-eight (48) hours of sick leave shall be
granted for use during the period of this contract extension.
2. Vacation Time: Forty-four (44) hours of vacation leave shall be
granted for use during the period of this contract extension.
5. Group Health Insurance: Effective November 1, 1991, the City will
increase its contribution towards group health insurance to $345.65 per
month.
