A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING ADDITIONAL HOUSING REHABILITATION LOAN FUNDS
AT 1251 MUNRO AVENUE
WHEREAS, Esther Garcia was approved a maximum $25,000 housing
rehabilitation loan on January 25, 1990 to cover major home repairs; and
WHEREAS, an abandoned gas tank has been identified at 1251 Munro Avenue and
the Fire Department has mandated that it be removed and the soil tested; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Garcia has no funds to finance the removal of the tank; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has investigated the City's liability with the
Garcia property and the abandoned gas tank.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell hereby approves additional housing rehabilitation loan funds in the
amount of $5,300 for removal of the gas tank, soil testing and backfilling at
1251 Munro Avenue.
