A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING CO-SPONSORSHIP OF "CAMPBELL DOWNTOWN OKTOBERFEST",
OCTOBER 26 AND 27, 1991
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell has declared an active interest in
the revitalization of its downtown area; and
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell has formed a special redevelopment
area to accomplish this revitalization; and
WHEREAS, the downtown merchants have formed an association to
promote the benefits of the Campbell Downtown area; and
WHEREAS the downtown merchants group have organized an
"Oktoberfest" to be held in downtown Campbell on Saturday, October 26,
and Sunday, October 27, 1991, which will include arts and crafts, German
music and dancers, beer and wine sales, and a horse-drawn carriage, all
in the themem of German Oktoberfest; and
WHEREAS, the City Council ha declared an active interest in
offering support of this type of event.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Campbell hereby authorizes the City's co-sponsorship, together with
the Campbell Downtown Business Association, of the Campbell Downtown
Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 26, and Sunday, October 27, 1991.
