RESOLUTION NO. 8169
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL HONORING
JACK BURNS
WHEREAS, Jack Burns has served on the Historic Preservation Board for the
City Council of the City of Campbell since being appointed as boardmember in
August 1979; and
WHEREAS, Jack has been instrumental in the formation of the Historic
Preservation Board of the City of Campbell; and
WHEREAS, Jack had to discharge his duties successfully and faithfully has
submitted his resignation effective upon April 16, 1991; and
WH ERE AS, Jack has served the Civic Improvement Commission and
provided valuable assistance in installing the Civic Improvement Historical
Markers; and
WHEREAS, Jack has provided historical accounts, documenting the heritage
of the City and thereby preserving its past;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby expresses
its sincere appreciation to Jack for his service to the Historic Preservation
Board and to the City of Campbell.
