CC Resolution 8158 #1 RESOLUTION NO. 8158 BEING A RESOLUTION ASSESSING COSTS FOR NUISANCE ABATEMENT--SHARMON PALMS ALLEYWAYS. WHEREAS, the City Council 1991 authorized abatement Sharmon Palms Complex; and of the City of Campbell on June 18, of nuisances in the alleyways of the WHEREAS, the nuisances have been corrected by the expenditure of City funds involving seven parcels known as 740, 754, 805, 817, 841, 855 and 895 Sharmon Palms Lane. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City Council is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with the California Friends of the Sacerdotal International Fraternity of Saint pius X, Inc. to purchase said property. PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Campbell this 6th day of August, 1991, by the following roll call vote: AYES: Ashworth, Burr, Watson, Conant, Kotowski NOES: None ABSENT: None APPROVED: Mayor ATTEST: )- . ~ I City Clerk \ RESOLUTION NO. 8156 BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL FIXING THE TAX RATE AND THE AMOUNT OF REVENUE NECESSARY FOR PAYMENT OF BONDED INDEBTEDNESS FOR 1991-1992 FISCAL YEAR WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Campbell, California has found and determined the City of Campbell will reasonably require the sum of Two Hundred Sixty-Three Thousand, Three Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars ($263,325) as the amount of revenue necessary for payment of General Obligation Bond Principal and interest maturities for the fiscal year 1991-1992. WHEREAS, the sum of One Billion, Eight Hundred Twenty-Three Million, Six Hundred Fifty Thousand, Four Hundred Dollars ($1,823,650,400) has been estimated by the Auditor of the County of Santa Clara as the value of secured property within the City of Campbell for tax code Rate A as ascertained from the assessment books of the county for the year; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Campbell that the tax rate sufficient to raise the sum of Forty-Five Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($45,500) as the amount to be raised by taxation of taxable property in the City of Campbell as a revenue for the expense of collection of same be, and it is hereby fixed as $0.0025 per One Hundred Dollars ($100) of full cash valuations for tax rate known as "Tax Rate A" for payment of principal and interest authorized pursuant to Section 43632 to 43634 inclusive of Chapter 4, Division 4, Title 4 of the Government Code. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk immediately transmit to the County Auditor a statement of the tax rate so fixed.
