BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AMENDING THE 1991-92 BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF $318,548 FOR
ACQUISITION COSTS IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FINAL SETTLEMENT
OF CITY OF CAMPBELL VS. CAMPBELL OFFICE PLAZA, ET AL.
WHEREAS, on April 18, 1989, the City Council adopted a Resolution of
Necessity in order to acquire the Library North property for use as the
site for the Campbell Historical Museum; and
WHEREAS, Campbell Office Plaza, et al., initiated litigation regarding
the value of the property; and
WHEREAS, on June 4, 1991, a settlement was reached with Campbell
Office Plaza, et al.; and
WHEREAS, $318,548 is required to cover settlement, interest, legal,
appraisal, and expert witness costs;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell does hereby amend the 1991-92 budget in the amount of $318,548
for acquisition costs in conjunction with the final settlement of City of
Campbell vs. Campbell Office Plaza, et al.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of July 1991, by the following roll
call vote:
