BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAMPBELL APPROVING THE EXPENDITURE OF
FUNDS TO ASSIST IN IMPLEMENTATION OF THE
TANNER HAZARDOUS WASTE MANAGEMENT
PLAN FOR FISCAL YEAR 1991 / 1992.
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell has participated in the costs incurred in
preparation of the County-wide Hazardous Waste Management Plan; and
WHEREAS, the County of Santa Clara has prepared a work program aimed at
implementing the Hazardous Waste Management Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Tanner Advisory Committee is recommending that all cities
within the County, and the County, share in the costs incurred in
implementing the plan; and
WHEREAS, the Intergovernmental Council has endorsed the Tanner
Committee's recommendation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell does hereby approve the expenditure of up to $7,010 from the
General Fund as the City's "Fair Share" cost of implementing the Hazardous
Waste Management Plan for Fiscal Year 1991/1992.
