BEING A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE SHARMON PALMS ALLEYWAYS
A NUISANCE, AUTHORIZING THE ABATEMENT AND
SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR THE PUBLIC HEARING
TO DETERMINE METHOD OF ABATEMENT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Campbell on June 4,
1991 has declared the alleyways involved with the Sharmon
Palms Paving Project to be a nuisance; and
WHEREAS, the owners of certain properties have not abated the
nuisance connected with the alleyways of that complex; and
WHEREAS, the maintenance of the nuisance deprives other owners
and adjacent properties of enjoyment and use of their
property.
WHEREAS, a public hearing to determine method of abatement is
set for Tuesday, June 18, 1991, 7:30 pm Council Chambers at 70
N. First St. Campbell.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Campbell that the Mayor and the City Clerk declare the
condition of the alleyways of the Sharmon Palms Paving Project
to be a nuisance and authorize the use of police powers to
enforce the abatement of said nuisance.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of June 1991, by the
following vote:
