BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CAMPBELL, AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A
CONSULTANT AGREEMENT FOR SOLID WASTE
GENERATION STUDY
WHEREAS, State legislation, under A.B. 939, requires every city to
adopt a Source Reduction and Recycling Element (S.R.R.E.); and
WHEREAS, one of the required components of the S.R.R.E. is a solid
waste generation study; and
WHEREAS, the West Valley Cities and County staff solicited proposals
for joint solid waste generation study; and
WHEREAS, West Valley Cities and County staff will review and
determine which proposal was found to be the most appropriate and
economical proposal.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Manager be authorized
to execute the agreement on behalf of the City of Campbell with the
most appropriate and economical consultant for a solid waste
generation study.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of April 1991, by
the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers: Ashworth, Burr, Watson, Conant, Rotowski
