WHEREAS, Phil J. Stafford has served as a Planner, advancing from his initial
position as a Planner I to Principal Planner for the City of Campbell's Planning
Departmem during his tenure since September 27, ]971; and
WHEREAS, Phil J. Stafford was a member of the San Tomas Task Force and
instrumental in the preparation of the long range plan for the San Tomas Area; and,
WHEREAS, Phil J. Stafford was the Environmental Review Ogcer for the City of
Campbell; and,
WHEREAS, Phil J. Stafford was instrumental in preparation and implementation of
the General Plan changes for the City of Campbell; and,
WHEREAS, Phil J. Stafford served as first Staff Advisor for the City of
Campbell's Historic Preservation Board; and,
WHEREAS, Phil J. Stafford has served with dignity far approzimate[y two decades
to preserve the City of Campbell's environment and serve its citizens; and,
WHEREAS, Phi[ J. Stafford provided staff training, represented the City on
various Boards and Commissions and has demonstrated acareer-long effort of service
to the Campbell's Community.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council, of the City of Campbell,
does hereby commend Phil J. Stafford for his dedication and commitment ro the City of
Campbell.
