A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMPBELL AUTHORIZING A JOINT PUBLIC HEARING OF THE CITY
OF CAMPBELL REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
WHEREAS, by City Ordinance No. 1461 adopted on June 21,
1983, the Central Campbell Redevelopment Plan (the "Original
Plan") was adopted; and
1990-
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 12 adopted on September 18, 1990
by the City of Campbell Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency"), the
Agency authorized staff to proceed in preparing the amendments to
the Original Plan in the form of a First Amended and Restated
Redevelopment Plan for the Central Campbell Redevelopment Project
(the "Amended Plan"); and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Campbell (the "City
Council") has been informed by the Agency that the Amended Plan
and a Report on the Amended Plan (the "Report") have been
prepared. The Report includes the Negative Declaration for the
Amended Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Agency has submitted copies of the Amended Plan
and Report to the City Council for its review; and
WHEREAS, there is a need for a joint public hearing with the
Agency to consider the Amended Plan and Report, and to have
interested groups and citizens be heard on the Amended Plan and
Report.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Campbell that
1. The City Council hereby approves the convening of a
joint public hearing with the City Council on December 10, 1990,
at 7:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers for the purposes of
considering the aforesaid Amended Plan and the Report thereon for
the proposed Project.
2. The City Council hereby directs the City Clerk to
publish in cooperation with the Agency the above described "Legal
Notice - Joint Public Hearing" which has been prepared by the
Agency staff, not less than once a week for three successive
weeks prior to the aforesaid public hearing in San Jose Mercury
News, a newspaper of general circulation for the City of
Campbell;

3. The City Council hereby directs the City Clerk to
cooperate with the Agency in mailing a copy of the aforesaid
Legal Notice to the last known assessee of each parcel of land in
the Project Area as designated in the aforesaid Amended Plan, at
the assessee's last known address as shown on the last equalized
assessment roll of Santa Clara County; and
4. The City Council hereby directs the City Clerk to
cooperate with the Agency in mailing a copy of the aforesaid
Legal Notice to the governing body of each of the taxing agencies
which levies taxes upon any property in the Project Area
designated in the proposed Amended Plan.

following roll call vote:
