BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CAMPBELL, AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS,
CITY OF MONTE SERENO AND CITY OF SARATOGA
FOR THE PROVISION OF SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City Council has found a need to provide expanded solid
waste management services within the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is in the best
interest of the residents of Campbell to implement a west Valley Solid
Waste Management Program in cooperation with the Town of Los Gatos and
Cities of Monte Sereno and Saratoga; and
WHEREAS, Solid Waste Management Program costs will be allocated among
the parties to the attached Agreement, based on each party's percentage
share of the total population of all parties to the Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Interim City Manager be
authorized to execute the attached agreement for provision of solid waste
management services.
