RESOLUTION N0. 8009
BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAMPBELL ADOPTING AN ADDENDUM TO THE
AMENDED AGREEMENT FOR SERVICES OF CITY ATTORNEY
WHEREAS, William R. Seligmann has diligently served the City of
Campbell as its City Attorney since January 1, 1987, under the terms of
written agreement for attorney services;
WHEREAS, in consideration of future services to be rendered by the
City Attorney, the Council has determined that the City should assume
the employee share of the City Attorney's contribution to the Public
Employees' Retirement System (PEAS);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
Section 1. Section 3.A of the Amended Agreement for Services of
the City Attorney shall be amended by adding the following sentence:
"Notwithstanding the foregoing provisions, the City shall pay any and
all contributions necessary to maintain the City Attorney as a member
of the Public Employees' Retirement System, including such amounts
which would otherwise be the obligation of the employee."
Section 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the attached
addendum, which incorporates the amendment set forth in Section 2 of
this resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of September, 1990, by the
following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers: Kotowski, Watson, Conant, Burr, Ashworth

ADDENDUM TO AMENDED AGREEMENT
FOR SERVICES OF CITY ATTORNEY
FOR AND IN CONSIDERATION OF THE FUTURE SERVICES TO BE RENDERED,
and the mutual promises of the parties, the undersigned parties agree
as follows:
1. Section 3.A of the Amended Agreement for Services of the City
Attorney is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:
"Notwithstanding the foregoing provisions, the City shall pay any and
all contributions necessary to maintain the City Attorney as a member
of the Public Employees' Retirement System, including such amounts
which would otherwise be the obligation of the employee."
2. The remainder of the Amended Agreement shall continue in its
present form in full force and effect.
