RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A GRANT AGREEMENT WITH SANTA
CLARA COUNTY FOR THE AINSLEY HOUSE PROJECT
WHEREAS, on April 4, 1989 the City Council of the City of Campbell
accepted the donation of the Ainsley House for use as Campbell's
Historical Museum; and
WHEREAS, the City has sought outside funding sources to assist in
financing the move and renovation of the Ainsley House at the Civic Center
complex; and
WHEREAS, on March 8, 1990, the County Historical Heritage Commission
unanimously recommended a grant in the amount of $300,000 from County Park
Charter Funds; and
WHEREAS, on April 24, 1990, the County Board of Supervisors approved
the Historical Heritage Commission's recommendation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell hereby authorizes the execution of a Grant Agreement with Santa
Clara County to provide $300,000 in County Park Charter funds for the
Ainsley House/Campbell Historical Museum project.
