A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE
CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY PLAN
WHEREAS, the City Manager is required by Section 2.12.030 of the
Campbell Municipal Code to prepare and submit to the City Council his
recommendations for the reorganization of offices, departments, and
positions which he considers to be in the best interest of efficient,
effective, and economical conduct of the municipal services provided by
the City; and
WHEREAS, a review has been conducted; and
WHEREAS, an amendment to the current Classification and Salary Plan
is needed to meet the requirements of Municipal Code Section 2.12.030.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell does hereby approve the reclassification of a current Principal
Clerk to Secretary (Redevelopment Department); a Senior Clerk-Typist to
Principal Clerk (Public Works, Engineering); retitling of the Building
Maintenance Worker classification to Building Maintenance Worker I and
revised job specification as presented in Exhibit A; reclassification of
the current Building Maintenance Worker to the new classification of
Building Maintenance Worker II as presented in the attached Exhibit B;
reclassification of the Park Maintenance Supervisor (non-management) to
Park Maintenance Supervisor (management); reclassification of the
Associate Civil Engineer-Traffic to the new classification of Traffic
Engineer as presented in the attached Exhibit C; and revised pay ranges
for the classifications of Equipment Maintenance Supervisor, Building
Maintenance Supervisor, Personnel Manager, Assistant to the City Manager,
Redevelopment Manager, and Community Center Manager.

call vote:
