BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL COMMENDING
HAROLD (HANK) H. WEST FOR
THIRTY YEARS OF SERVICE
WHEREAS, Harold (Hank) H. West has been employed by the
City of Campbell since September 1, 1960; and
WHEREAS, Harold (Hank) H. West has served the Campbell
Public Works Department in five (5) positions during the
past thirty years as Laborer, Maintenance Man I,
Maintenance Man II, Equipment Operator, Foreman and held
the position of Field Maintenance Supervisor since January
1, 1975; and
WHEREAS, Harold (Hank) H. West was instrumental in the
development of street and park maintenance programs and has
performed his responsibilities with a high degree of
professionalism and dedication; and
WHEREAS, Harold (Hank) H. West is an active member of the
Maintenance Superintendent Association, San Francisco Bay
Area Chapter, for the State of California and served as
President in 1980-81; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, on behalf of City employees and
Campbell citizens, wishes to express its appreciation to
Harold (Hank) H. West for thirty years of valuable service
and wish him continued success and achievement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Campbell declares September 4, 1990 Harold (Hank)
H. West day in the City of Campbell.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this nth day of August 1990 by the
following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Watson, Conant, Burr, Ashworth
