RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
DECLARING SATURDAY, JUNE 30, 1990 "CITY OF CAMPBELL DAY" AT
THE SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS BASEBALL GAME
WHEREAS, the San Francisco Giants are 1989 National League
Champions; and
WHEREAS, the San Francisco Giants will be playing a home game
against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday, June 30, 1990; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor will participate in the ceremonial throwing of
the first ball: and
WHEREAS, Eddie Morales has been selected from the Campbell Little
League as Honorary Bat Boy; and
WHEREAS, the Giants have provided discounted tickets in the lower
reserved section between home plate and first base; and
WHEREAS, the Giants organization has worked cooperatively with the
City to organize this event;
WHEREAS, the Campbell Chamber of Commerce is co-sponsoring this
event;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Campbell hereby declares Saturday, June 30, 1990 "City of Campbell Day" at
the San Francisco Giants Baseball game.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of June, 1990, by the following roll
call vote:
