RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL HONORING
KEVIN C. DUGGAN
WHEREAS, Kevin C. Duggan began his career with the City
of Campbell in June of 1972; and
WHEREAS, Kevin C. Duggan has served as City Manager for
the City of Campbell since 1984; and
WHEREAS, Kevin C. Duggan has served as chair of the Santa
Clara County City Managers' Association and has served
on the advisory board for the American Society for Public
Administration (Santa Clara Chapter); and the League of
California Cities' Transportation and Public Works Policy
Committee from 1983 to 1985; and
WHEREAS, as Campbell's City Manager, Kevin C. Duggan
managed many projects of major significance for our
community including acquisition and improvement of the
Campbell Community Center, extension of the Los Gatos
Creek Streamside Trail, initiation of the revitalization
of the Downtown Campbell Redevelopment Project Area, and
the commencement of the Ainsley House/Campbell Historical
Museum Project; and
WHEREAS, Kevin C. Duggan has instilled a sense of "team
spirit" among the Council, staff and Advisory
Commissioners, and has consistently provided Campbell
residents with a high level of municipal services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Campbell commends Kevin C. Duggan for his
many years of service to the City of Campbell, and wishes
him continued success and happiness in his upcoming
professional transition.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of June, 1990, by the
following roll call vote:
