BEING A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A ONE-YEAR EXTENSION
OF THE AGREEMENT WITH JOHN P. GACHINA LANDSCAPE
MANAGEMENT FOR PUBLIC FACILITIES LANDSCAPE MAINTENA
PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Campbell authorized, by
Resolution No. 7762 dated June 20, 1989, an agreement with John P.
Gachina Landscape Management from July 1, 1989 through June 30, 1990
for Project 89-50, Public Facilities Landscape Maintenance Program;
WHEREAS, Project 89-50 contemplated extensions for additional one-year
periods up to a maximum of three subsequent years after June 30, 1990;
WHEREAS, Project 89-50 contemplated extensions based upon mutual
agreement between the City of Campbell and John P. Gachina Landscape
Management as to modified terms and compensation;
THEREFORE, the City Council authorizes a one-year extension of the
agreement with John P. Gachina Landscape Management, for the mutually
agreed upon compensation of $5,040.92 per month ($60,490.99 per year)
without water restrictions, and $5,973.86 per month for six months with
a 25% water restriction (66,088.68 a year).
