RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMPBELL
APPROVING A LOAN ORIGINATION AND SERVICING AGREEMENT
WITH UNITED STATES ESCROW FOR THE
CITY OF CAMPBELL'S LOW INTEREST HOUSING IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Campbell requires the services of a lender to
implement its housing rehabilitation program; and
WHEREAS, Mercury Savings and Loan Association can no longer fulfill
its contractual obligations with the City of Campbell; and
WHEREAS, United States Escrow can fulfill the financial and
technical services needed to operate a housing rehabilitation loan
program; and
WHEREAS, the County Board of Supervisors recently approved an Urban
County Cooperative Housing Rehabilitation Master Service Agreement which
would benefit the City of Campbell's housing rehabilitation program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Campbell hereby
approves said agreement and authorizes the Mayor to execute the agreement
on behalf of the City.
